Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR) is offered as optional equipment on Front Wheel Drive (FWD) vehicles.

The Antilock Brake System (ABS) is divided diagonally. The brake booster assist is provided pneumatically by the vacuum brake booster unit.

The hydraulic unit and control module form a single unit, which is referred to as the hydraulic control unit.





Malfunction sources are reduced by direct connection of components named. The hydraulic control module is serviced by replacing it.

The bolts which connect the individual components of the hydraulic control unit must not be loosened.
