Condensation Drain






Condensation Drain

If the condensation water cannot drain fully, odor problems can occur. Check the condensation water drain hose and the condensation water drain valve and clean the parts or replace them if necessary.

Removing

- Remove the glove compartment, cover pillar "A" from below, and the floor mat on the passenger's side.

- Carefully fold the carpet back

- Release clamp - A -.





- Remove condensation water drain hose - B - with condensation water drain valve - C - from the floor plate.

- Remove condensation water drain valve - C -.

Installing

- Check the distance of the noise insulation mat in the area of bore - E - from the floor plate (the noise insulation mat must not touch the installed condensation water drain valve - C -).

- Check the condensation water drain valve - C -. It must not be obstructed by wax or underbody sealant.

- Check condensation water hose - B - for dirt and clean it prior to installation

- Fully insert condensation water drain valve - C - as shown (use soap suds as a lubricant).





- Check condensation water drain hose - B -. It must not be twisted or crushed and must be located in the recess in the floor mat.

- Attach clamp - A -.

- Reinstall all components in the reverse order.
