Headlamp Range Control

CAUTION!
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

• Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.

• Switch the ignition off.

• Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

• After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Information and/or Owner's Manual.

• Steps after reconnecting voltage supply => Battery.

CAUTION!
High voltage!

Make sure to disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap before performing work on parts of High intensity gas discharge (xenon) headlamps marked with yellow high voltage symbols.

1 Left/Right headlamp beam adjusting motor (V48)/ (V49)

2 Headlamp range control module (J431)

• Location: Behind glove box at dash panel support

• Removing and installing => [ Headlamp Range Control Module ] Headlamp Range Control

3 Left rear level control system sensor (G76)

• Located on left rear axle control arm

• Removing and installing: => Suspension Suspension

4 Left front level control system sensor (G78)

• Located on left control arm of front axle

• Removing and installing: => Steering and Suspension Steering and Suspension
