Horn: Service and Repair

Horn, through MY 2006

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing





- Remove affected headlamp:

• Halogen headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamps, through MY 2006 ] Halogen Headlamps.

• Gas-discharge headlamp, Refer to => [ HID Headlamp, through MY 2006 ] HID Headlamps.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

- Remove nut - 1 - and remove horn from bracket.

• The bumper is removed in the illustration.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install headlamp:

• Halogen headlamp => Halogen Headlamps.

• Gas-discharge headlamp => HID Headlamps.
