DTC Memory, Checking

- Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Measurement and Information System (VAS5051) => [ VAS 5051, Connecting and Selecting Functions ] VAS 5051, Connecting and Selecting Functions and in selection touch vehicle system "02 - Transmission Electronics". Ignition must be switched ON.

Display on (VAS5051):





- In selection touch - 1 - diagnostic function " 02 - Scan DTC memory".

Display on (VAS5051):





1. Contents of the DTC memory:

<> 0 DTCs detected

or

<> X DTCs detected

2 DTC

<> DTC number

<> Location of DTC

<> Type of DTC

A - If DTCs were recognized:

- Print out contents of screen or OBD protocol.

- End function "02 - Scan DTC memory" by touching arrow button.

Display on (VAS5051):





- Repair malfunction(s) using the Test Chart => [ Electrical Test Table ] Electrical Test Table.

- In selection touch diagnostic function "02 - Scan DTC memory " again and delete DTC memory => [ DTC Memory, Erasing ] DTC Memory, Erasing.

- Touch "06 - End output".

B - If no DTC was detected:

- Touch "06 - End output".
