Affected vehicles

91 Radio with sporadic DTC 00858 found during routine fault memory interrogation





Condition

During routine fault memory interrogation, the radio may have DTC 00858 (ZF connection to antenna amplifier, sporadic open or sporadic short circuit) stored in memory.

DTC 00858 will not bring about a customer concern.

Technical Background

Radio self-diagnosis too sensitive.

Production Solution

Not applicable.

Service

If DTC 00858 exists during fault memory interrogation:

1. Perform no further diagnosis or repairs for this DTC.

2. Complete diagnosis and repairs for other DTC(s).

3. Erase DTC memory.
