Windshield Wiper System

CAUTION!
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

• Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.

• Switch the ignition off.

• Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

• After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Information and/or Owner's Manual.

• Steps after reconnecting voltage supply => Battery.

Wiper Blade Rest Position, Adjusting

- Let wiper motor run to rest position.

- Set wiper blades on front windshield and align as follows:









• The dimensions indicate the gap between the wiper blades to cowl grille of plenum chamber at lower edge of windshield.

- Tighten wiper arm securing nut to 21 Nm.

- Operate wiper cycle button.

- If necessary, realign wiper arms once again and tighten securing nuts.
