Headlamp Washer System

CAUTION!
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.

Switch the ignition off.

Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Information and/or Owner's Manual.

Steps after reconnecting voltage supply => Battery.

Removing

- Pull up on spray jet covers at bumper and carefully disengage mounts - arrow -.





- Unclip retaining clip and pull spray jet insert upward - arrows -.





Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Removing

- Pull spray jet covers upward at bumper and carefully disengage mounts - arrow -.





- Remove the respective headlamp => [ Halogen Headlamps ] Halogen Headlamps or => [ HID Headlamps ] HID Headlamps.

- Remove washer fluid hose - 3 - (press release button).





- Unscrew bolts - 1 - and - 2 - and remove spray jet.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:

- Install headlamp => [ Halogen Headlamps ] Halogen Headlamps or => [ HID Headlamps ] HID Headlamps.

Washer Fluid Reservoir

The washer fluid reservoir supplies both the windshield and the headlamp washer systems, and is located at the front left of the engine compartment. Removing and installing => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir ] Windshield Washer System.
