Removing

- Vehicles with a ski sack: remove the ski sack. Refer to => [ Ski Bag, Folding Backrest ] Ski Bag, Folding Backrest.

- Remove center floor assembly anchorage point. Refer to => [ Removing center floor assembly anchorage point ].

- Fold left 1/3 backrest and right 2/3 backrest down.

- Remove cover and clamp on center bracket - 3 -. Refer to => [ Center Bearing Cover and Clamp ] Center Bearing Cover and Clamp.

- Lift the backrest - 6 - in the direction of the arrow - A - out of the center bearing - 3 - and remove the backrest in the direction of the arrow - B - from the anchor - 1 -.

- If you also remove grommet - 2 -, reinsert grommet.

- Vehicles with backrest heating: disconnect the connector for the backrest heating - 4 -.

- Vehicles with a seat belt tensioner: disconnect the connector for the seat belt tensioner - 5 -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Be sure to note the following:

- Vehicles with backrest heating: pay attention to the installed position of the backrest heating connector. Refer to => [ Backrest heating connector installation position ].

- Make sure backrest locks. Refer to => [ (Item 7) Latch Trim ].

7 Latch Trim

When backrest is locked, pin projects 1-2 mm over latch trim.

When backrest is unlocked, pin projects about 20 mm over latch trim and a red marking is visible.

Removing center floor assembly anchorage point





- Remove the screw - 1 -.

- Slide anchorage point - 4 - in direction of arrow.

- Install binding clip - 2 - at side padding - 1 -.
