Selector Lever Boot, Removing from Selector Lever Handle

Removing





- Remove the selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.

- Bind the spring tabs - 1 - of the selector lever handle together with a cable tie - 3 -, as shown in the illustration.

- Push the sleeve - 2 - of the selector lever boot over the retaining tabs on the spring tabs - arrow -.

- Remove the cable tie and remove the sleeve with the selector lever boot from the selector lever.

Installing

Install in the reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Installation position of the selector lever boot:

• The longer side of the frame for the selector lever boot faces toward the driver side.

- Install the selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.
