Zero Adjustment for Sunroof Operation, Adjusting
• A zero adjustment is necessary, if
• Sunroof motor was not removed in zero position.
• Sunroof was opened or closed via emergency operation.
• Parts of sunroof operation were removed and installed.
- Remove trim. Refer to => [ Slotted Guide Rail Cowl Panel Trim ] Slotted Guide Rail Cowl Panel Trim.
- Close sunroof.
- Slide sunroof headliner completely toward rear.
- Remove sunroof motor. Refer to => [ Sunroof Motor ] Sunroof Motor.
- Left and right guide pin - 1 - must be located centered to marking - 2 - on guide plate.
• Illustration depicts glass sunroof panel as removed.
- Connect the voltage supply connector - 4 - to the removed sunroof motor.
- Connect the connector - 1 - to the sunroof switch inside the interior lamp.
- Select "roof opened" or "roof tilted open" using rotary switch.
• Motor automatically runs to end position
- Move rotary control to "roof closed" position.
• Motor automatically runs to zero position and switches off - markings - 2 - and - 3 - must lie opposite each other
- Install motor in this position with sunroof closed.
