1 - Mirror Housing

2 - Mirror Adjusting Unit

• Removed before removing door trim.

• Remove assembly carrier and window frame. Refer to => [ Assembly Carrier ] Front Door.

• Pry out the mirror glass, disconnect the connectors for the mirror heating, remove the Phillips head screws - 6 - and remove the mirror adjuster from the mirror housing - 1 -.

3 - Mirror Glass

• Use (80 - 200) to unclip.

• Protect mirror housing against damage using textile tape above and below.

• Press mirror lens first downward, then upward.

4 - Screw

• 1 Nm.

5 - Adjusting Motor

Adjusting Motor

- Remove mirror lens

- Remove Torx bolts - arrows -.





- Disconnect harness connector to motor.

- Remove sensor from housing.

Mirror Housing

- Remove mirror lens

- Remove bolts - 2 -.





- Carefully release mirror housing at lugs - arrows -.





- Remove mirror housing at sides upward from mirror adjusting unit.

Mirror Adjusting Unit

- Door trim removed.

- Assembly carrier and window frame removed. Refer to => [ Assembly Carrier ] Front Door

- Remove bolt - 3 -.





- Disconnect the window regulator control module connector.

- Pull cable with grommet through door shell and unclip cable from window frame => [ Exterior Rearview Mirror Wire Routing ].

- Remove the wire from the door and remove the exterior rearview mirror.

- To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

- Window frame - 1 - removed.

- When installing mirror, cable - 2 - must be clipped into holes - arrows - of window frame

- Grommets - 3 - must be inserted from outside toward inside into door shell.
