Backrest Cushion and Upholstery, Separating from Backrest Frame

1 - Cushion and upholstery

• Removing

- Remove seat => [ Seat ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Remove side trim on sill side => [ Side Trim, Sill Side ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Remove side trim on tunnel side => [ Side Trim, Tunnel Side ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Remove front trim => [ Front Trim ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Remove bracket for seat side panels => [ Seat Side Trim Bracket ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Remove the backrest => [ Front Backrest ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Remove headrest => [ Power Headrest ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Remove headrest guides => [ Headrest Guides ]. Headrest Guides

- Remove top backrest cover => [ Upper Backrest Cover ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Remove bottom backrest cover => [ Lower Backrest Cover ] Power Memory Front Seats.

- Disconnect connector - 2 -.

- Using a screwdriver, pry out clamping strips - 5 - (Qty. 8).

- Using a screwdriver, pry out lower clamping strips - 3 - (Qty. 5).

- Fold cover and cushion - 1 - downward.

- Disconnect connector - 4 -.

- Remove cover and upholstery - 1 -.

• Installing

- Install cover and upholstery - 1 - in reverse order of removal.

2 - Backrest heating element connector

3 - Lower clamping strips (Qty. 5)

4 - Harness connector of seat side bolster heating element

5 - Clamping strips (Qty. 8)
