Condition





The front door trim panel rattles in the area of the folding door panel shelf.

Technical Background

Figure 1:

The housing of the door panel shelf makes contact with the door panel.

Production Solution

Rubber buffer installed on the door panel shelf housing.

Service

Figure 2:

1. Use scissors to cut a 20x50 mm section out of the rubber packing. See Figure 2 for the cutout location.

Neither the door trim panel nor the door panel shelf need be removed for this repair.

2. Position the cutout approximately 60 mm away from the edge of the handle, flush with the edge of the trim.

3. Install the packing by pressing with your finger.
