Electrically Operated Front Seat Wiring Routing Overview Basic Seat Wiring

NOTE:
- Illustration shows front passengers seat, drivers seat configuration is a mirror image.
- Wire routing and attachment to seat must be carried out as shown so as not to damage wiring harness.

Wiring on front passenger side

1 - Wiring harness
2 - Connector console
3 - Locating clip
- Locating clip - 3 - must always be installed from underneath.
- Missing locating clip - 3 - must always be attached to prevent wire abrasion on seat frame.
4 - Binding clip
5 - Locating clip
- For attachment to center cross member
6 - Locating clip
- For attachment to outer cross member
7 - Locating clip
8 - Locating clip

NOTE: Cover and padding have been removed in illustration.

1 - Seat ventilation fan connector (3-pin)

3 - Backrest connector (8-pin)
4 - Heated backrest connector (2-pin)
5 - Locating clip
- Locating clip - 5 - must always be installed from underneath.
- Missing locating clip - 5 - must always be attached to prevent wire abrasion on seat frame.
- Missing locating clip - 5 - must be attached 80 mm (dimension - A -) from center of binding clip - 6 -.

NOTE: With new seat wiring, locating clip - 5 - must be installed first.

8 - Heated seat connector (2-pin)

3 - Connector to seat ventilation control module (12-pin; brown)
4 - Seat/backrest interface (12-pin; signal connector)
5 - Connector to memory control module (32-pin; blue; signal connector)
6 - Connector to switch module at seat trim panel (12-pin)
7 - Connector to memory control module (12-pin; power connector)
