Condensate Drain Hose
Removing
- Remove storage compartment on driver's side, glove compartment and center console.
- Carefully fold back floor mat far enough that condensate drain - A - is visible.
- Disengage clamp - B -
- Cover area beneath condensate drain - C - with absorbent paper so that any water present does not flow under carpet.
- Remove foam pipe - D -.
- Remove condensate drain - C -.
- Check the gap between the lower floor panel - F - and the insulation mat - G - installed in the center tunnel. There must be enough space for condensation to exit from the condensation drain - C -.
- Check condensation water drain of A/C unit - A - for soiling using a piece of wire.
Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following.
- Insert condensate drain into opening in lower floor plate - B -, observe locking element while doing so.
- Insert foam pipe - D - into opening of upper floor plate - E - such that cross-section of condensate drain is not constricted.
