Transmission Control Module (TCM), Replacing

NOTE:
- Country-specific laws make adaptation of the Transmission Control Module (TCM) to the vehicle necessary. This "writing" function is not possible with the generic scan tool, therefore it is necessary to use the Vehicle Diagnosis Service Syst. VAS5052 in On Board Diagnostic (OBD) function for this purpose.
- Procedure to replace Transmission Control Module (TCM):

Final procedures
After connecting harness connectors to control module, the following work steps must be performed in the mentioned sequence:
1 - Check DTC memory.
2 - If necessary, erase DTC memory.
3 - If DTC memory was erased, generate readiness code.

- End diagnosis and switch ignition off.
