Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch E22, Removing And Installing







Removing

- Remove Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM) Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM), removing and installing.

NOTE: Steering must be in center position (wheels in straight ahead position) when removing and installing coil connector with slip ring.

- Carefully release catches - arrows -.
- Remove airbag spring/spiral spring with slip ring - 2 - with Steering Angle Sensor G85 - item 1 - from steering column switch module (SMLS).







- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 -.
- Detach Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch E22 - item 3 - from steering column switch module - arrow -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.
- Install Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM).

Tightening torque

Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch E22 to Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module J527: 0,65 Nm
