Removing

- If control module is replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module using the VAS 5051/5052 "Guided Fault Finding" Function.

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051A).

• The level control system control module (J197) is installed on the bulkhead behind the glove compartment.

Follow the safety precautions when disconnecting the battery.

- Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition switched off.

- Remove the glove compartment.

- Remove the air duct from the control module.

- Release the connector - 1 - on the control module in the - direction of the arrow - and remove it.





- Remove the control module - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

- Level control system control module, readapting. Refer to => [ Level Control System Control Module, Programming ] Level Control System.

- Install the air duct on the control module.

- Install the glove compartment.
