CAUTION!
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

• Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.

• Switch the ignition off.

• Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

• After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Information and/or Owner's Manual.

• Steps after reconnecting voltage supply => Battery.

Trunk Lid Contact Switch

Removing

- Remove trunk lid lock.

- Pry off plastic catch - 3 - from retaining bolts - 1 - using a flat screwdriver.





- Bend plastic tab fully to rear.

- Pull contact switch - 2 - first to the side and then upward out of trunk lid lock.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:

• Make sure that the washers between plastic catches and trunk lid lock have proper seating.
