Frequent Damage

• Check the Transmission Control Module (TCM) (J217 ) DTC memory before troubleshooting.

• Check also DTC memory of Engine Control Module (ECM), as DTC's of the Engine Control Module (ECM) can lead to transmission malfunctions.

• Check ATF level before checking the DTC memory.

• For troubleshooting, use "Guided Fault Finding".
