Seat Cushion Extension, Sport Seat

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095)





• Fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136)









1 Seat Cushion Extension

• Removing

- Remove seat => [ Standard Front Seat ].

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Remove drawer or storage compartment:

• Drawer, through June 2006, Removing and Installing. Refer to => [ Drawer, through June 2006 ]

• Storage Compartment, from June 2006, Removing and Installing. Refer to => [ Storage Compartment ] Storage Compartment.

- Detach cover and cushion from seat pan. Refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover and Cushion, Sport Seat ] Front Seat Covers and Upholstery.

- Detach seat cushion extension from cover and cushion.

• Installing

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

2 Seat Cushion Extension Base Plate

3 Nut

• 35 Nm

• Quantity: 4

4 Bolt

• Quantity: 4

5 Handle

• Removing

- Remove bolts - 4 - (Qty. 4).

- Remove handle - 5 -.

• Installing

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

6 Trim

• Removing

- Remove clips - 7 - (Qty. 4) on trim - 6 -.

• Installing

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
