Final Control Diagnosis

- Connect scan tool and select function "engine electronics" , refer to => [ VAS 5051 or VAG 1551, Connecting ] VAS 5051 or VAG 1551, Connecting.

- Press -> key.

Indicated on display (function selection):

Vehicle system - test HELP
Select function XX

- Press keys 0 and 3 for "Final control diagnosis" and confirm the entry with the Q key.

- Press the -> key until the following text appears:

Final control diagnosis
Actuation of vacuum pump for brake system

- Confirm entry with the Q button.

The electric vacuum pump should now run for approx. 10 sec.

- Remove diagnosis lead from diagnostic connection.
