On Board Diagnostic (OBD), Initiating Program

Test requirements:
- Voltage supply and fuses for all systems OK
- VAG 1551 Scan tool connected
- Anti-theft alarm not primed
- Key not in the ignition

NOTE:
- If the display remains blank, check VAG 1551 voltage supply according to wiring diagram.
- Additional operating instructions can be called up with the scan tool HELP button.
- The -> button serves to advance the program sequence.
- If an incorrect entry is made, press button -C- to escape.

- Switch on printer with the Print button (indicator lamp in button lights up).
- Press button -1- for "Rapid data transfer."

Address word for central locking system: 35
- Press buttons -3- and -5-.

- Confirm input with -Q- button.

This display (central locking) will appear after about 5 seconds (example: vehicle without anti-theft alarm).
