Rear Brakes, FWD, Assembly Overview
1 - Phillips-head screw - 4 Nm
2 - Brake disc
^ Never remove brake discs from hub by force. If necessary use penetrating fluid, otherwise brake discs can be damaged.
^ When worn always replace both sides
3 - Grease cap
4 - 12-point nut
5 - Wheel hub with wheel bearing and rotor
^ Only replace complete
6 - Bolt - 60 Nm
7 - Backing plate
8 - Stub shaft
9 - Parking brake cable
10 - Axle beam
11 - Speed sensor
12 - Hex head bolt
13 - Hex socket head bolt - 65 Nm
14 - Brake carrier
^ With guide pins and protective cap
^ Supplied as replacement part assembled with sufficient grease on guide pins
^ Install repair kit in the event of damage to protective caps; use pad provided to grease guide pins.
15 - Brake hose/line
^ With banjo bolt and seals
^ Replace if banjo bolt is loosened
^ Tighten banjo bolt to 38 Nm
16 - Bolt - 35 Nm
^ Self-locking
^ When loosening and tightening counter hold on guide pin
^ Replace each time after removing
17 - Brake caliper housing
18 - Brake pads
^ When worn always replace both sides
19 - Pad retaining springs
^ Always replace when changing pads
