Ignition System Components, Removing And Installing

NOTE: Components marked with -A- are not relevant.







1 - Connector
- Black, 4-pin
2 - Ignition coils
- Cylinder 1 Ignition Coil -N-
- Cylinder 2 Ignition Coil 2 with Power Output Stage -N127-
- Cylinder 3 Ignition Coil 3 -N158-
- Cylinder 4 Ignition Coil 4 -N163-
3 - Seal
4 - Spark plug, 30 Nm
- Remove and install using 3122B
5 - 3-pin connector
- Contacts gold plated
- brown for Knock Sensor (KS) 1 -G61-
- black for Knock Sensor (KS) 2 -G66-
6 - 20 Nm
- Torque setting influences the function of knock sensor
7 - Knock Sensor (KS) 1 -G61-
- Sensor contacts and connector contacts gold plated
8 - Knock Sensor (KS) 2 -G66-
- Sensor contacts and connector contacts gold plated
9 - Connector
- Black, 3pin
10 - 10 Nm
11 - Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor -G40-
12 - 25 Nm
13 - Washer
- Conical
14 - Hood
- for Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor -G40-
- Observe installation location
15 - Ground (GND) wire
- Do not loosen or tighten unless ignition is switched off
16 - 10 Nm
- Do not loosen or tighten unless ignition is switched off
