To perform assembly work, secure engine to engine stand.
1 - 60 Nm + 90 degrees (1/4 turn) further

2 - Dual-mass flywheel
3 - Seal
4 - 23 Nm
5 - Thermostat housing
6 - 10 Nm
7 - Secondary air hose retainer
8 - Gasket
^ Replace
9 - Seal
^ 2 pieces
^ For Valve -1- for camshaft adjustment -N205- and Camshaft adjustment valve 1 (exhaust) -N318-
10 - 10 Nm
11 - Camshaft position sensor
^ 2 pieces
^ Mark electrical connector before disconnecting
12 - O-ring
^ 2 pieces
^ Replace
13 - Upper timing chain cover
^ Coat sealing surfaces with sealant when installing
14 - Guide sleeve
^ 2 pieces
15 - Gasket
^ Replace
16 - O-ring
^ Replace
17 - Seal
^ Replace
18 - Chain tensioner for camshaft timing chain
^ Fasten to 40 Nm
19 - 10 Nm
20 - Cylinder head gasket
^ Clean holes and fill with sealing compound
21 - Guide pin
22 - Lower timing chain cover
^ Coat sealing surfaces with sealant
23 - 10 Nm
^ Fasten diagonally in steps
