NOTE:
- The control module is pre-coded at the factory.
- The coding procedure is performed using scan tool VAG. 1551. See Coding table, or
If the VAG. 1551 does not show the correct coding or if a new control module is to be installed, the control module must be coded using the following procedure:

Enter code number XXXXX (0-32000)
- Enter the control module coding via the keypad as indicated by the coding table. For example: 4682 (central locking + anti-theft alarm/radio-operated remote control).
- Enter coding of control module for central locking for TT Coupe and TT Roadster with manually operated convertible top or hydraulically operated convertible top via keypad: e.g.:
Coding: 15884

Enter code number 15884 (0-32000)
- Confirm input with -Q- button.
- The display will show the control module identification (central locking with anti-theft alarm) together with the coding that has been entered.

NOTE: Before making any changes, find out what the existing coding is.
NOTE: Security central locking (SCL) incorporates the following functions (with vehicle locked):
- If the central locking is activated once only (using either the key or the remote control), the driver's door and fuel tank flap will be unlocked but the remaining doors and the rear lid will stay locked.
- If the central locking is activated twice in quick succession, the remaining doors and the tailgate/boot lid will also be unlocked.
