1 - Hexagon socket head bolt
- 6 Nm
2 - Adapter ring
- Installation position
- Note different design for right-hand drive
3 - Shim
- Must make even contact after fitting mirror base; 0.5 mm gap all around
4 - Mirror base cover
- Removing from mirror base







5 - Mirror base
- Mirror housing is disassembled before removing mirror base

Removing:
- Remove hexagon socket head bolts - 1 -.
- Pull cable through and take off mirror base upward.

Installing:
- Pull cable through mirror base.
- Place mirror base on outer door panel and screw in bolts - 1 -.
- Make sure seal - 6 - is uniformly positioned.
- Circumferential gap: 0.5 mm
- Tighten bolts - 1 - to 6 Nm.

6 - Seal
- Ensure correct positioning
- Must make uniform contact between mirror base cover - 4 - and outer door panel.
