Toothed Belt For Wind Deflector, Removing And Installing







1 - Toothed belt
- Wind deflector does not need to be removed for removing and installing toothed belt.
- Remove front trim for convertible top storage compartment.
- Remove rear wind deflector cover.
- Adjust wind deflector panel completely down and remove ignition key.
- Use pliers to press wind deflector housing - 3 - inward approx. 3 mm on left and right to reduce tension of toothed belt - arrows -.
- A second technician removes the toothed belt - 1 - from splines - 2 -.
- Press spindles completely down before positioning toothed belt.
- Each tooth on the splines - 2 - represents 1 mm height adjustment for the wind deflector panel.
