1 - Tensioning ring
- Small diameter

3 - Sealing cap

- Replace if damaged
5 - Tank flap
6 - Cylinder bolt, 4 Nm
- To remove tank flap, remove only three illustrated bolts
7 - O-ring
- Replace if damaged
8 - Striker
9 - Compression spring
10 - Retaining plate
11 - Phillips-head screw
12 - Disengagement cable
13 - Rubber cup
- With overflow hose
14 - Fuel filler unit

Special tools and equipment







- 3370 special tool

Removing







- Remove three bolts designated with arrows.
- Remove tank flap vertically from chassis cut-out using special tool 3370.







- Remove bolts (arrows) of disengagement cable.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:







- In order to route overflow hose without kinks, rubber cup must be installed as follows:
- The edge of the overflow hole must be flush with the edge of the square hole as depicted (arrows).

Tightening torques

Tank flap to body 4 Nm
