Differential and Head Bevel Gear / Input Shaft, Removing and Installing



Differential and head bevel gear / input shaft, removing and installing
Adjustment work is necessary when replacing these parts.





1 - Rear axle housing * See note

2 - Stud, 10 Nm

3 - Oil drain plug, 25 Nm
^ With magnet

4 - Oil filler plug, 25 Nm
^ Filling quantity and specification
^ Check gear oil in rear final drive

5 - Vent

6 - Bracket
^ For harness connector/wiring harness
^ Different versions

7 - Bolt, 10 Nm
^ Qty. 2

8 - O-ring
^ Always replace
^ Install coated with gear oil
^ Replace with rear final drive installed

9 - Complete differential
^ Remove with cover

10 - Bolt, 25 Nm

11 - Right drive flange
^ Removing
^ Drive in using plastic mallet

12 - Circlip
^ Always replace
^ Removing and installing

13 - Head bevel gear / input shaft *See note
^ Head bevel gear is paired with shaft bevel gear

14 - O-ring
^ Always replace
^ Install coated with gear oil
^ Replace with rear final drive installed O-rings for cover / rear axle housing (final drive installed), replacing

15 - Cover * See note
^ Removing
^ Installing

16 - Bolt, 25 Nm

17 - Circlip
^ Always replace
^ Removing and installing

18 - Flange shaft, left
^ Removing
^ Drive in using plastic mallet
