Door Subframe, Adjusting And Overview
NOTE: It is possible to adjust height, angle and longitudinal position of door subframe without removing door trim.
1 - Door with subframe
2 - Cover
- Pry out to adjust height and longitudinal position
3 - Front lock nut
- 30 Nm
4 - Front adjuster screw (T30)
- For longitudinal adjustments
- Adjustment travel - A - ± 5 mm. from center position
- When tightening lock nut to torque, hold adjuster screw to prevent it turning
5 - Door subframe
6 - Rear adjuster screw (T30)
- For longitudinal adjustments
- Adjustment travel ± 5mm from center position
- When tightening lock nut to torque, hold adjuster screw to prevent it turning
7 - Rear lock nut
- 30 Nm
8 - Cover trim
- Pry out to adjust height and angle
9 - Cover trim
- Pry out to adjust height
10 - Cover trim
- Pry out to adjust longitudinal position
11 - Adjuster screw
- For adjusting angle
12 - Lock nut
- Before tightening nut to torque, screw stop bolt - 13 - back to contact position.
- 30 Nm
13 - Stop bolt
- After adjusting height, screw stop bolt back to contact position.
14 - Lock nut
- 30 Nm
15 - Adjuster screw
- For adjusting height
- Adjustment travel - B - ± 4mm from center position
16 - Bottom adjuster screw (T30)
- To adjust angle or longitudinal position, just loosen lock nut - 12 -.
- Screw in adjuster screw before adjusting height.
- After performing adjustment, unscrew adjuster screw as far as it will go and tighten lock nut - 12 - to torque.
- When doing this, hold adjuster screw to prevent it turning.
17 - Bottom lock nut
- 30 Nm
18 - Bottom adjuster screw (T30)
- For adjusting height
- Adjustment travel ± 4 mm from center position
