Door Window, Assembly Overview







1 - Side window
- Remove door subframe.
- Before removing, mark position of window using felt-tip pen.
- Remove Torx bolts - 7 - and take out window.

Before removal:
- Raise window.
- Remove door subframe.
- Mark position of window at both mountings using felt-tip pen.
- Remove Torx bolts - 7 -, pull door window toward the rear out of guide rail and remove.







Installing:
- Push door window into guide rail - 11 - and center with drivers at window lifter.
- Fit washers - 6 - and clamping washers - 5 - and loosely secure bolts - 7 -.
- Centrally align door window marks with washers/clamping washers and tighten bolts to 6 Nm.

When installing new door window, proceed as follows:
- Position window on drivers at window lifter.
- Slide window into guide rail - 11 - as far as it will go.
- Keeping window straight, push it upward in guide rail until there is a smooth transition to side window.
- Then pull window between 0.5 and 1 mm out of guide rail toward the rear.
- Fit washers - 6 - and clamping washers - 5 -. Tighten bolts - 7 - to 6 Nm.

8 - Bottom washer
9 - Bottom clamping washer
10 - Torx bolts
- 8 Nm
- This bolt can be used to adjust side window laterally with respect to A-pillar.
