Exterior Mirror Housing, Replacing

- Disconnect battery.
- Remove mirror glass.
- Use fabric adhesive tape to protect mirror housing at top and bottom.







- Press mirror glass - 2 - out of mirror adjuster unit - 1 - using special tool 80-200 (removal lever), starting at bottom and then top.
- Pull off electrical connectors.







- Release spring - 4 - upward and remove.
- Pull clamping wedge - 3 - out of mirror base and take out entire mirror housing with adjuster unit - 1 - and mounting plate - 2 - upward.
- Remove screws (3x) from mirror adjuster unit.







- Swivel mirror adjuster unit - 1 - aside and remove screws from mounting plate - 2 -.







- Turn housing around and remove screw - arrow -.
- Take mirror adjuster unit and mounting plate out of housing.
