Removing And Installing Seat Cushion







1 - Seat cushion

- Removing
- Remove seat.
- Remove spring trim.
- Pull out catch - 3 - of holders - 2 - (2x) (magnified view - D -).
- Detach holders - 2 - (2x) to front.
- Cut through tie bands - 4 - (magnified view - C -).
- Unplug heated backrest connector - 5 -.
- Remove connector - 7 - by pressing retainer tabs - 6 -.
- Unplug airbag connector - 8 -.
- Remove height adjustment handle.
- Detach fabric trim - 11 - (magnified view - B -).
- Lift up front of seat cushion - 1 -.
- Pull out seat cushion - 1 - forward.
- Remove upholstery (seat cover and padding) from seat cushion.

NOTE: When removing seat cushion, both seat springs and their corresponding rubber buffers at the rear between seat cushion and backrest fall out on their own

- Installing
- Make sure rubber buffers - 9 - are positioned correctly in brackets on backrest.
- Place seat cushion - 1 - on seat frame, set springs - 10 - at an angle between rubber buffer - 9 - and seat cushion - 1 - (magnified view - A -).
- Take hold of cover trim - 11 - and pull seat cushion - 1 - toward the rear until springs - 10 - are in a vertical position (magnified view - B -).

4 - Tie band
5 - Connector
6 - Retainer tabs
7 - Connector
8 - Side airbag connector
9 - Rubber buffers (2x)
10 - Springs (2x)
11 - Fabric trim







Unplugging airbag connector
- Press retainer tab - 2 - and pull away connector - 1 - in direction of arrow.
