Note:
^ A new adjustment is only necessary after replacing, parking brake cables, brake calipers and brake discs.





- Remove switch mount with storage compartment -1-and cover for rear center console -2-.





- Parking brake lever in "rest/off" position. Tighten adjusting nut - arrow -.....





- .... until lever - arrow - lifts off the brake caliper stop.

^ The maximum permissible distance from the stop is 3 mm on either side.

- Pull parking brake firmly three times and then release again.
- Check that both wheels turn freely while parking brake lever is released.

Note:
^ Due to the automatic rear wheel brake adjustment there is no requirement to adjust the parking brake after making new/initial adjustment.
