Fuel Filler Door






1 - Fuel Filler Door Cup

• Pay attention to the markings on the cup and on the side panel - arrow - when installing.

2 - Fuel Filler Door Unit

• Before removing, disassemble fuel filler door unlock motor (V155)

• Removal:

- Remove the fuel cap and the bolt - 4 -.

- Remove fuel filler door insert sideways from the side panel.

- Remove the fuel filler door insert at an angle from the side panel.

• Installing:

- Insert drain hose into insert cup.

- Push insert cup into cut-out in side panel.

- When doing this, align markings on insert cup and side panel - arrows - to each other.

- Insert fuel filler door unit insert into the opening until it engages into the fuel filler cup.

- Install and tighten the bolt - 4 -.

3 - Fuel Filler Flap

• Insert flap onto hinge arm and let it engage.

4 - Bolt

• 1 Nm

5 - Drain Hose

• Drain hose with clip slide onto flange at bottom of side panel.

6 - Clips

Releasing Fuel Filler Door





- Insert a screwdriver as shown between flap - 2 - and flap mount - 1 - and thus release the lug.

- Pull flap slightly toward rear out of lug.

- Remove flap from the side.

Installing Fuel Filler Door





- Insert flap into cutout in mount.

- Slide flap - 2 - in direction of - arrow - toward front until it engages into lug of mount - 1 -
