Cupholder or Storage Compartment in Center Console

• Removal and installation of the cupholder or storage compartment is described for an upper center console with "concert" or "chorus" radio. If the "symphony" radio is installed, removal and installation of the cupholder or storage compartment is similar.






1 Upper Center Console

2 Storage Compartment

• Equipment-depending with or without lighting

Removing

- Unclip switch trim - 4 -.

Storage Compartment without Lighting:

- Open storage compartment - 2 -.

- Press clips - arrows - down with a flat screwdriver.

- Remove storage compartment - 2 - from upper center console - 1 -.

Storage Compartment with Lighting:

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove ignition key.

- Open storage compartment - 2 -.

- Press clips - arrows - down with a flat screwdriver.

- Remove storage compartment - 2 - from upper center console - 1 - as far as possible.

- Disconnect electrical connector.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

3 Cup Holder

• Equipment-depending with or without lighting

Removing

- Unclip switch trim - 4 -.

Cupholder without Lighting:

- Open cupholder - 3 -.

- Press clips - arrows - down with a flat screwdriver.

- Remove cupholder - 3 - from upper center console - 1 -.

Cupholder with Lighting:

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove ignition key.

- Open cupholder - 3 -.

- Press clips - arrows - down with a flat screwdriver.

- Remove cupholder - 3 - from upper center console - 1 - as far as possible.

- Disconnect electrical connector.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
