Guide and Cable






1 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm.

2 Sunroof Frame

• The rails front and back on the sunroof can be individually replaced => [ Sunroof Frame Rail, Removing and Installing ] Rail and Sunroof Frame Overview.

• The rear guide rail is removed.

• Remove the bolts - 1 - from the front guide rail and then remove the guide rail.

3 Guide with Cable

Removing:

• Molded headliner removed.

• The sunroof motor is removed.

• Remove the retaining strip for the wind deflector.

• The sunroof panel is removed.

- Sunroof crossmember, removing => [ Sunroof Crossmember ] Sunroof Shade

- Remove the rear guide rails.

- Sunroof frame removed.

• Remove the bolts - 6 - and - 7 - from underneath and the bolt - 9 - from the top and then remove the entire cable guide by pulling down on it.

Install in reverse order of removal.

4 Sunroof Motor

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Sunroof Motor ] Service and Repair

5 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm.

6 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm.

7 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm.

8 Wind Deflector Retaining Strip

• Removed

9 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm.

10 Roof Module

11 Rear Guide Hinge

• Remove the screws - 12 - to remove.

12 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm.

Remove the Wind Deflector Retaining Strip.

- Remove the center bolts - arrows - (2x) and then the left and right outer bolts - arrow - and then remove the retaining strip.






Remove the Bolt on the Guide and Cable

- Remove the retaining strip for the wind deflector.






- Remove the bolts from the top to remove the guide.
