Intake Flap Motor with Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Commercially available 1 / 4 inch ratchet

• TORX 30





Removing

- Remove engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover with Air Filter Element ] Service and Repair.

- Disconnect the vacuum lines - arrows -.





- Remove the bracket - arrow - for the harness.





- Disconnect the electrical connections - 1, 2 and 3 -.

- Remove bracket for cable connector - arrows - from coolant pipe.





• Open the nut with the left arrow just enough so that the bracket can moved to the side.

- Carefully pry off linkage from intake flap motor - 4 -.

- Remove intake flap motor - 5 -.





• The illustration shows the intake manifold removed.

Installing

- Installation is in reverse order.
