Front Axle Camber, Centering
• Camber cannot be adjusted.
• The camber can only be centered evenly within the tolerance range by sliding the subframe.
- Remove the lower noise insulation, depending on the model and engine.
- Remove the bolts - 1 and 2 - and install new bolts loosely.
- Slide the subframe - 3 - in the direction of the arrow until the camber is even on both sides.
- Tighten the subframe/console bolts - 1 and 2 -.

• After moving the subframe and steering gear, check the clearance between the steering column universal joint and the cutout in the bulkhead.
- Remove securing nuts - arrows - and remove foot well trim.
There must be at least 5 mm of clearance all the way around between the universal joint - 2 - and the cut-out in the plenum chamber bulkhead.
