Air Filter, Engine Cover Assembly Overview






1 Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)

• Replace the seal.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Mass Air Flow Sensor ] Service and Repair

2 Bolt

• 3 Nm

3 Air Filter Housing/Engine Cover Upper Section

• Clean the air filter housing-upper section of salt residue, dirt and leaves

• Follow the removing instructions exactly (the engine cover could break)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Engine Cover with Air Filter Element ] Service and Repair

4 Spring-Type Clip

5 Intake Air Guide

• To air filter housing

• Clean dirt and leaves from intake air guide

6 Filter Element

• Always use an Original air filter

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Engine Cover with Air Filter Element ] Service and Repair

• Observe change intervals

7 Air Filter Housing Lower Section

• Clean the air filter housing-lower section of salt residue, dirt and leaves

8 Bolt

• 3 Nm

9 Heat Shield

10 Rubber Boot

• Note installation marking

11 Air Guide Hose

• Note installation marking

• To turbocharger

• Check the air duct hose for dirt and leaves

The smooth side of the seal must contact the mass airflow sensor (see the magnifying glass).
