Fuel Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Fuel Pressure Sensor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Assembly Tool (T10118)

• Double Hexagon Socket, 1/2", 27 mm (VAS 5301/7)

Removing


Fuel system is under pressure! Fuel pressure must be reduced to a residual pressure before opening high pressure area of injection system. Refer to => [ Before Opening High Pressure Fuel Injection System ] Service and Repair.

- Disconnect coolant pipe and oil dipstick guide from intake manifold - arrows - and pull off oil dipstick guide upward from engine.





- Disengage connector from fuel pressure sensor (G247) using (T10118).

- Remove fuel pressure sensor (G247) using (VAS 5301/7).

Installing:

- Installation is in reverse order.

- Tightening specifications of connection 30 Nm must be checked before installing fuel pressure sensor.
