Fuel Pressure
Specified value approximately 6 bar (4 to 8 bar)
Switch off ignition. After 10 minutes there must be a residual pressure of at least 3.0 bar.

Residual Fuel Pressure
Check for leaks and residual pressure by observing pressure drop on (V.A.G 1318)
After 10 minutes there must be a residual pressure of at least 3 bar

Fuel Pump Delivery Quantity
Compare quantity of fuel delivered with minimum delivery rate in the diagram (cm3/15s)





Voltage at the fuel pump with engine stopped and fuel pump running is approx. 2 volts less than battery voltage
