Coat the bearings and the sliding surfaces with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).





1 Cable Mounting Bracket

For selector lever cable

2 Bolt

23 Nm

Quantity: 2

For attaching the cable bracket to the transmission

3 Circlip

Replace

For selector lever cable to transmission selector lever

4 Clip

Replace

For the selector lever cable to the cable mounting bracket

5 Selector Mechanism Function Unit

Refer to => [ Selector Lever Emergency Release from Park Position, with Selector Lever Boot, Activating from 11.2009 ] Selector Lever Emergency Release From Park Position, With Selector Lever Boot, Activating From 11.2009

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Function Unit ] Selector Mechanism Function Unit

With integrated circuit board for selector mechanism (selector lever (E313)), do not touch this

With integrated selector lever sensor system control module (J587) with selector lever (E313), tiptronic switch (F189), Selector lever park position lock switch (F319) and selector lever solenoid (N110), do not touch these

Check the vehicle through the Guided Fault Finding vehicle tester.

With integrated selector lever sensor system control module (J587) with selector lever (E313), tiptronic switch (F189), selector lever park position lock switch (F319) and selector lever solenoid (N110) can only be replaced with the mechanism function of the selector mechanism, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Function Unit ] Selector Mechanism Function Unit

Selector lever cable can only be replaced with the selector mechanism, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Function Unit ] Selector Mechanism Function Unit

Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Check and Adjust if Necessary ] Selector Lever Cable, Check and Adjust if Necessary

Do not lubricate the selector lever cable
