4 Gears

• Checking backlash

• Checking axial play

5 Oil Pump Cover

• With check-valve

• Check-valve opening pressure: 5.3 to 5.7 bar positive pressure

• Clean strainer if soiled

6 8 Nm

• Insert with locking compound; Locking compound.

7 Oil Pressure Line

• Coat at cylinder block and at oil pump housing with sealing paste; sealing paste.

8 10 Nm

9 Seal

• Replace if damaged

Backlash, Checking





- Use a feeler gauge to measure.

• Backlash wear limit: 0.20 mm

Axial Play, Checking





- Use feeler gauge and straight edge to measure.

• Axial clearance wear limit: 0.10 mm.
