Trailing Arm Bonded Rubber Bushing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Thrust Plate (T10230/12)

Pressing Out the Bonded Rubber Mount






- Remove trailing arm with mounting bracket. Refer to => [ Trailing Arm with Mounting Bracket ] Trailing Arm With Mounting Bracket.

- Install tools as shown in the illustration.

- Press out the bonded rubber mount.

Pressing In the Bonded Rubber Mount






- Place the trailing arm on a flat surface.

- Position the trailing arm so dimension - A - 114 mm is reached.

- In this position, apply a vertical line (marking on the upper and lower edge of the bushing) that is centered with the trailing arm bushing.

There are 2 different bonded rubber bushings. For both, the marked line must lie between raised points - 1 - after pressing in.






- Install tools as shown in the illustration.

- Press bonded rubber bushing in flush.

- Install mounting bracket on trailing arm. Refer to => [ Determining Installation Position of Mounting Bracket Relative to Trailing Arm ] Trailing Arm With Mounting Bracket.

- Install trailing arm with mounting bracket. Refer to => [ Trailing Arm with Mounting Bracket ] Trailing Arm With Mounting Bracket.
