Oxygen Sensor 1 and Heater after Catalytic Converter

Removing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Ring Spanner 7-piece Set (3337)

- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 - (brown connector) on Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G130).





- Remove Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G130) - 1 - using the tool from the Ring Spanner 7-piece Set (3337).





Installing

When installing, note the following:

• New oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste; the paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body.

• For a used oxygen sensor, only coat threads with hot bolt paste. This paste must not come into contact with sensor slots.

• Wiring connection of oxygen sensor must always be secured in the same position when installing so that contact with the exhaust pipe is avoided.

• Tightening specifications: 55 Nm.
