CAUTION!
Observe measures when disconnecting battery.

• Removal:

- Disconnect the battery ground cable.

- Remove the driver airbag unit:

• => [ Airbag Unit, Standard Steering Wheel ] Driver Airbag, Servicing

• => [ Airbag Unit, Sport Steering Wheel ] Driver Airbag, Servicing

• => [ Airbag Unit, Multifunction Steering Wheel ] Driver Airbag, Servicing

• => [ Airbag Unit, RS 4 ] Driver Airbag, Servicing

- Remove the steering wheel.

- Remove storage compartment on driver's side. Refer to => [ Driver Side Storage Compartment, without Knee Bolster ] Storage Compartments and Covers.

- Remove the instrument cluster.

- Remove glove compartment. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment ] Storage Compartments and Covers.

- Remove front passenger-side airbag unit. Refer to => [ Front Passenger Airbag ] Front Passenger Airbag, Servicing.

- Remove center console. Refer to => [ Center Console ] Storage Compartments and Covers.

- Remove the center part of the instrument panel. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Center Section ] Storage Compartments and Covers.
